A few minutes ago, I hit refresh on my personalized Google homepage and noticed a plethora of pluses. Next to two news feeds I have and the list of Newest Mozilla Add-ons (but not the Top Stories feed) there are now plus boxes next to each story. It’s new to me, and I’m leaning toward thinking it’s a new feature because it showed up independently on feeds from completely different sources. It’s a handy feature, but I can also see it reducing hits to the actual site if someone just views the snippet.
