Google Analytics Reporting Getting Slower?

by morgret on February 1, 2007

Google Analytics has always trailed somewhat behind real time, but it has seemed much slower the past few days. One report from today is still showing the last traffic as being ten hours ago. In the past, traffic tended to lag from two to four hours behind. I know you get what you pay for, but it’s frustrating to see the reporting slow so markedly, at least in the case of the several sites that I monitor. For about $3 or $4 a month, I use MyBlogLog, and seem to have close to real time stats there (though I certainly keep the Analytics account running, as it provides much more in-depth analysis of things).

For those that use the Google Personalized Homepage, r2unit.com has a Google Analytics Plugin that sits on your personalized page and shows you the traffic sites from your sites in Analytics.
