Google Analytics Response

by morgret on February 2, 2007

Here’s the response I received from Google Analytics when I inquired about the lag in reporting time.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are aware of this issue and are currently working to resolve it. We appreciate your patience in the meantime.

Under normal circumstances, report data generally takes up to 24 hours to update, but may sometimes take longer to appear in your account. AdWords cost information is imported once daily, to import the previous day’s information.

In addition, the statistics in the reports can be delayed 3 hours behind the current time. For example, if it is currently 10am PST, your reports will contain data for your website through 7am PST. At approximately 11am, your reports will update to contain data for your website through 8am.

Please allow up to 24 hours for your reports to be populated with data. Please note, however, that none of your data has been lost.
